In the meanwhile, you can indeed disable rename from getting in your way.
In the search bar, type the following command and press Enter:
/allow_rename=0
You won't be able to use the click-to-rename, F2, nor Advanced Rename features from within Everything until you change the value back to 1.

Not sure what happened, but the default columns in Everything 1.4 and in 1.5 are Name, Path, Size, etc... There is nothing to inhibit nor prohibit this arrangement. Try deleting (or renaming) your settings file, then restart the program.

I think it would be nifty if search terms were wrapped inside of graphical bubbles to indicate their distinctness, much in the way web forum tagging creates bubbles, or the Windows Explorer address bar creates bubbles for each folder element in the path.

Simple answer to your question about fast sort: If you don't enable those, you will have to wait several seconds when clicking on those column headers on-demand. If you find yourself sorting any of those columns, then you definitely want them.

On further thought, the pixel offset ideas seems pretty dumb. I guess it's pretty fine the way it is, and animating the thumbnail slots seems like a lot of work.

If you're not using the computer's built-in card reader slot(s), then just go ahead and unplug it from the USB headers (on board). Or, you can disable the device from device manager. That way it won't ghost up in the future.

Someone else has already created a thread of bookmarks that they share. If you want to add to it, or create your own post as a personal public diary, I see no reason why not. I have one kicking around somewhere that I haven't updated in a while. Just bookmark it so you don't lose track.

why do you bookmark a one time command ?? 👀.. ! is a special value which flips the setting from on to off and off to on. asamirid, I save these to spread the good word and gospel to other users as it arises. Void has responded to other posts about this stating that context menu restructuring is on his to-do list, and in the mean time you should use third party tools to manage your windows explorer context menu if it is cluttered.
