Permanently exclude folders for command line interface

Post by Sassaglas »

Hi all! I had downloaded Everything Command-line Interface and use it together with UELI.

Is there a way to permanentky make certain folders for example C:\Windows unaccessible for the search, so it would never search these folders.
I do not want to exclude the folders every time I search something.

Thanks!

If you are going to use the Everything Command-line Interface (ES.exe), you also have to download and install the Everything Client (to run in the background as the client manages the database ).

In this GUI you can exclude folders through Menu:Tools > Options > Indexes > Exclude.

BTW: thanks for the UELI tip! Never heard of it. Yet another launcher that uses Everything :-)
