Making Everything the default Windows search engine

Unless I'm mistaken, I thought I used to have Everything run when I clicked Start > Search. I can't remember how to set it that way again. Was I dreaming, or was this possible?

An "Everything" shortcut has never been available in the Start -> Search menu.
The option to add an "Everything" shortcut on the start menu is on my "Things to do" list.
