Add folder of .lnk (windows shortcuts) and index their destination

Hello,
I am looking for a solution. My company has a very large network drive, 99.9% of which is unrelated to my work. I have certain project directories that I would like to have indexed. The way I currently keep track of these is to have a folder with windows shortcuts (.lnk) files pointing to the directories that pertain to my work.
I would like to add this folder of shortcuts to Everything, but instead of having it index the shortcut files themselves, I want it to index their destination folders.
Is this possible?
Problem constraints:
1. The existing network drive is massive and I can't seem to be able to index the entire thing
2. I have to place my folders in the main drive x:\2024\project-234, x:\2024\project-634, etc.
Looking forward to your thoughts.
