Windows renders the minimize/maximize button.
There's not much I can do here.
(I only see the different size when hovering over the button and only when the window has focus)
To hide the minimize and maximize buttons:
- In Everything 1.5, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the Advanced tab on the left.
- To the right of Show settings containing, search for:
remove
- Select: window_style_remove
- Set the value to: 0x00030000
- Click OK.
---
- Close the Everything search window.
- Re-open the Everything search window.
Both the minimize and maximize buttons need to be disabled to hide them.
Otherwise, they are still shown and only disabled.
