If you would like to try this now, please check out the Everything 1.5 alpha.
(English only support at the moment)

To show the column header in thumbnail view:

• In Everything 1.5, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Advanced tab on the left.
• To the right of Show settings containing, search for:
  header
• Select thumbnail_view_header.
• Set the value to: true
• Click OK.

The Advanced tab was a recent addition to the Everything 1.5 alpha.

Please try the latest build.



Alternatively, to always show the column header:

• Copy and paste the following into your Everything search box:
  /thumbnail_view_header=1
• Press ENTER in your Everything search box.
• If successful, thumbnail_view_header=1 is shown in the status bar for a few seconds.
