Add to a disk drive using volume

Post by sk2107 »

Hi,

How can add to a disk drive or a partition using volume ID if it does not have a drive letter?

Thank you

To add an unmounted NTFS volume to your Everything index:
  • In Everything 1.5, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the NTFS tab on the left.
  • Right click in the NTFS volume list and click Add....
  • Set the volume name, for example:
    \\?\Volume{01234567-8901-2345-6789-012345678901}
  • Set the mount path to the same volume name, for example:
    \\?\Volume{01234567-8901-2345-6789-012345678901}
  • Leave root empty.
  • Click OK.
  • Click OK.
