Registry

Post by TOENEE60 »

Fantastic Program!!

Is it possible for Everything, during a search, to show files located in the registry? That would be handy when searching for leftover files after a program uninstall.

Thank you,

"Everything" does not search the registry.

You will need software that searches the registry.
"Everything" is specifically for file and folder names only.

Instant, no.

(Doing a "regular" search), Nirsoft's: RegScanner - find/search in the Registry of Windows.

Try RegCool
It isn't instant results, but it's the fastest out there.

Link to RegCool: https://kurtzimmermann.com/regcoolext_en.html

I use Registrar Registry Manager.
It is not cheap, but there is a free Home version too.

Biggest advantage: A Search wil check the entire registry, without the need to press F3 every time.
Results are opened in a separate tab.
