Anomaly with Wiki and Run History/Count ???

This Wiki page tells me that "Pressing Enter from the search edit will focus the file or folder result with the highest run count."
And when I tap <Enter> in an empty search box, the Result list pops up with the background of the following image, identifying a file "Searching.doc" on which I have been working recently.

This same image show what I see when I (menu) History, “Show All Search History”“Show All Search History” and then sort by Search Count <descending" i.e. "train".
Hence my question elsewhere about the difference between "Search History" and "Run History"?
I now believe that "searching" and "running" are two different tasks we set for Everything, but then I expect two more terms with distinct meanings "search count" and "run count" and then two more terms "search history" and "run history".
That is, as a beginner, I get confused with the current documentation.

Further I can imagine a user going through life using only Search action/History/Count; and another user going through life using only Run action/History/Count.
That is, both aspects are truly independent.
