Hello --- this is a neat option --- If I put it on the usb drive and run it from computer to computer, does the *.ini (*.db) file keep track of the different computers? Thanks

No. But you could use different databases (one per computer).

Here you can find something that automates that largely. And is entirely portable.
It uses folder indexing instead of NTFS indexing, so it will be a little slower, but on the other hand: works on all systems, even if you are not an administrator.
