Drag and drop inside Everything leaves an overlay

Whenever I drag and drop files to folders within Everything (same search results) some kind of overlay gets stuck on my screen, even in front of windows, browsers, media player. This overlay persists until the drag and drop finishes. Please see the attached images. This is really annoying for long copy operations. Is there any way to fix this?
Edit: This doesn't happen if I drop from inside Everything to Explorer.

Is that copy dialog a Windows (10 ?) dialog or is the copy being performed by some copy utility (like FastCopy, Supercopier)?

If you do the same sort of copy with Windows Explorer does the same happen?

Yes, it is the default copy of Windows 10.
This does not happen everywhere else.
Only if I copy in within Everything.
Also a side note, while this overlay is there and the copy is ongoing I cannot drag and drop anything else in Windows and Everything is completely unreachable.
I confirmed this bug in Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.
Note: you need to start a long enough copy operation. This means forcing copy by holding CTRL while dragging OR moving files between partitions.

Thanks for the bug report.

Everything was doing the drop operation before removing the drop image.

Everything 1.4.1.934 or later will now remove the drop image before applying the drop operation.
