Database Error db.c(5792)

Post by Muzzammil » Wed Jan 16, 2019 6:22 pm

Greetings folks!

Jumping right to the query, I installed an application named 'clean space' which is more like managing-sys-space-to-the-last-bit app, opened it, it started scanning and in the next min this error popped up.

.\src\db.c(5792): _db_readd_subfolders_and_files(): Fatal error: corrupt file name array

I'm still on WinXP (guess it's rooted in my cpu :) ) and running Everything 1.3.4.686 (x86)

I did not executed the clean/delete option in that application since its install. It just scanned so far. So any help would be of great.... help. :|

What is "clean space"?
How is it related to Everything?
What is giving your this "database error"?

Oh, so this was something that happened in older versions of Everything.

Why not use the current, http://www.voidtools.com/downloads.
Works fine, everywhere, including XP.
(Can't hurt to backup before putting in current Everything.)

Official website of clean space software:

https://www.cyrobo.com/software/systm-en-welcome--.php

It is not related to Everything.
It is not giving me any error now. So I think the file causing the error is maybe restored. It runs fine now.

Thanks for help man!

I may be wrong, but for me it looks like a spam and advertising of doubtful SW

Probably it's a shady sw, I too had that feel. I'm gonna uninstall it after checking any usable feature it offers or not without messing with imp files.
