Many thanks!

(Sysology)

They sure a lack on details.

I guess once you have DSM open, you'll have a quick feel for it though.

Everything does not interface with that (AFAIK).
Though Everything can do Folder or File List indexing of your NAS.

Well, I work in a company with 30+ employees.
15 of which are using macOS and can use the index created by the SYNOLOGY in Finder.
The other 15 use windows and can't search it, only with Everything. But it would be a waste / inefficient to have 15+ windows index the server all the time, while the server itself already does it. There sever is 1TB+
Hence, using the File Indexing synology provides for macOS utilised by for example Everything woud be awesome.

Are you sure about that? I suspect Finder does it's own Indexing the way Everything does (folder indexing).

An alternative might be using 1 (Windows) machine to index the Synology disks and use Everything's embedded HTTP servre to make the search reslts available to macOS as well as Windows 'clients'.

For Windows computers, you can mount indexed folders via SMB and search through Windows File Explorer.
For Mac computers, you can mount indexed folders via SMB or AFP and search through Mac Finder.
