Right-click causes crash

I'm using Win 10 Pro Version 1803 (OS Build 17134.471) with Everything 1.4.1.895 (x64)

For the last week or so, whenever I right click a selected hit in the list, Everything crashes ( "Not responding"). I then have to restart followed by a longish wait for the rebuild.

Is 1803 17134.471 a new update for you?

Add anything new that adds a context-menu item?

See Nirsoft's, ShellExView - Shell Extensions Manager.
And, Troubleshooting Right Click Issues Caused by Shell Extensions.

Had that version for a few weeks so could be a factor. I also think there was some sort of update patch to it a few days ago. To be honest I've rather lost track of what MS is doing with its updates. I'm reconciled to letting it get on with it and hopefully quickly sorting out any mistakes.

Re the context menu: Not that I can recall recently and anyway don't see why that would affect it?

The real nuisance is that it's intermittent! Just tried it again and no problem.

Heh, you're a bit more forgiving then I.

Maybe your crash is only happening on a particular file type?

Try it with the latest version of Everything (1.4.1.923), which can be found here.
( In version 1.4.1.910 was a fix for context menu issues )

Thanks NotNull. Did you mean 1.4.1.924 which is what I see at that page?

At the time, it was .923. Now, it is .924. So yes, with .924 things should now be fixed.

@therube is right. I should have said "(1.4.1.923 or later)" ...

Sorry for the confusion.
