Everything finds files that are not there.

What would cause Everything to show several files as being on drive C when they are not? Do I need to repair the index or something?

Everything may have missed these changes.

Please make sure you are using the latest version of Everything:
http://www.voidtools.com/downloads/

Please make sure you have no exclude filters:
  • In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the Exclude tab on the left.
  • Uncheck Exclude hidden files and folders.
  • Uncheck Exclude system files and folders.
  • Uncheck Enable exclude list.
  • Click OK.
Please try forcing a rebuild:
  • In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the Indexes tab on the left.
  • Click Force Rebuild.
  • Click OK.

Anything in particular?

How are you determining that?
Using Windows Explorer? A file manager? Are you showing hidden files?
