Hi Guys,

can I only check my extern hard drive with everything?

"Everything" should include this volume automatically when it is plugged in.

Make sure the volume is NTFS.

If the volume is FAT or FAT32 you might like to convert to NTFS.
To convert to NTFS see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307881.

To index only the removable hard drive in "Everything":

• In "Everything", from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Volumes tab.
• Disable Check media for all volumes except the removable hard drive.
• Make sure Check media is enabled for the removable hard drive.
• Make sure Enable USN Journal is enabled for the removable hard drive.
• Make sure Include in database is enabled for the removable hard drive.
• Make sure Monitor changes is enabled for the removable hard drive.
• Click OK.
