Everything Crash -- Not enough storage Error

Post by mlensenm »

Operating system: Win 7 Ultimate (64 bit) currently updated

Error Message:
.\src\thread_t.cpp(106):thread_t:start(): Fatal Error. Assertion failed Last WIndows Error 8: Not enough storage is available to process this command.

I've been getting this a couple of times each day for the past week. My C: Drive has 806 gigabytes of available space. The drive has been checked and cleared of errors. The computer has 8-gigabytes of RAM.

Everything lists 544,639 objects.

The only major change in the last week was a move from Eset antivirus to Bitdefender.

I hope this is fixable, as I've not found any other desktop search tool as fast or complete.

Thank you for any assistance.

Got the same error.
Since I'm using Windows 8.1 (64bit).

Any Ideas?

I've got this twice - for the first time today. I was running previously in Win XP, and just started using Windows 7

I confirm that I get Everything crashes immediately after removing previous antivirus (avg and avast) and installing Bitdefender.
This happens on 2 PCs! I installed Bitdefender Internet Security.
I restart Everything and after some time, maybe 2 hours or so, it crashes again.
So, it is not a coincidence.

A new topic should be started about compatibility with Bitdefender.
