Virtual disk support

Hello,
Desperately requiring virtual disk support. Since I transitioned from Google Drive to Drive stream (I guess I should have chosen backup and sync instead), Everything became useless since it doesn't yet have the support for searching in virtual drives. I've written this to the author of the software, yet if anybody can provide support to this, is probably welcome.

Drive stream is not an NTFS volume and also folder indexing will be hard to implement.
For me indexing such data is not part of a free tool like Everything.
I think there are many functions which are already in Davids list to implement
which are of more value to most users.

What type of Vritual Drives?

I have on my TODO list to support VHD, VHDx and possibly vmdk.

To index raw images, please see:

Could you mount any virtual drives in your operating system, add them to the indexing and set Everything to keep offline shares?

I don't suppose VHD or VHDx support was added in the last release?

Any updates on this? This would be really useful now that Windows 11 Dev Drive is supported via ReFS vhd.

It's still on my TODO list.

I got VHD images working in a test build, nothing available online yet.
VHDx/vmdk are too complicated for native support.
I have on my TODO list to explore the Microsoft OpenVirtualDisk API.
I'll bump this a little higher on my TODO list, the OpenVirtualDisk API might also make supporting VHD easier.

For now, please consider mounting these virtual disk images and creating a file list.
