missing 1 step shortcut to locate the filter

Hi David,
currently in the latest beta version[1.4.1867b(x64)]:
after take a look all the available Keyboard options currently, there's the Keyboard option for ->"View | Filters", but it's only for the display or hide of the Filters;
meanwhile, i've known that we can set the shortcuts for locating the more specific specific filter via the shortcuts, i.e: Alt+v->choose Video, Alter+d->choose Document...etc in Search->Organize Filters. it's nice;

however, i think it's missing 1 step here:
it's not enough convenient here for this particular point, when in practise, it's expected to have a keyboard shortcuts to locate the Filters, i.e: focus the Filters, i can then use the arrow up and down to choose between the (Everything, Audio, Compressed, Document, Executable, Folder, Picture, Video). currently i have to manually locate the filter, and use the arrow up and down to choose the specific filter that i expect to search here;

Thanks for the consideration.

Hi Admin,

"next filter" and "previous filter"? i'm afraid i'm not so familiar with the term you used.

but what my point here is: to locate/focus the Filters(displayed in the right side of the search bar), the scenario is: e.g: i input "apple" in the search address->lots of results displayed->ctrl+a(supposing i set the shortcut in question to be ctrl+a)->then i can choose the every filter that i need to check(maybe video, maybe document, maybe folder, etc...) with up and down arrow.

one more time, the whole point is just focus the filter bar(ctrl+a as in the example, which is missing currently), being a laptop user who don't use the mouse, i expect i can use the shortcut as much as possible, without manually pointing here and there.

thanks for the prompt reply with the adding to-do list.

Can be done currently by Alt+S (Menu_Search), and Up arrow.
Suggested in past to make Filters stand-alone menu like Bookmarks.
Still, I think this idea to make a shortcut option to focus the filter bar is a good idea.

.

yeah, i just tried Alt+S (Menu_Search) as you said, and apparently there's the difference b/t this and focus the filter bar;
e.g: Alt+S: can't display instantly when we up and down the filters;
have to click Alt+S each time to change the filters;
focus the filter bar:can display instantly when we up and down the filters;
just hover the filter bar once to change up and down;

so i also agree focusing the filter bar is a good idea.
