Don't index excluded folders in the first place

So I've mounted the /srv folder of a remote server locally. Its content are like:

._ -> /
a
b
c
..

First one is symlink to the / directory. Excluding it there is not much content in the directory. So my goal is to index everything but this. But since it tried to index everything and then exclude the ._ directory, it is not possible to index that partition because of all of latency.

How do you exclude the "._" folder in Everything?

(and what version of Everything are you running?)
