Keyboard shortcut for editing a file using specific editor

Hi

I want to have a way of editing the selected result file from the results window using a specific editor (specifically I want vscode, but I guess it doesn't matter, just execute a specific commandline)

I know nothing of vscode, but, Open with VS Code from right click in Windows Explorer.

Or set up a Send To or...

Thank you for the answer. But "right clicking" seems a bit excessive. I just want to press some keyboard shortcut...

You can use a Custom Verb for that in Everything.

According to the link that @therube posted, the verb to open a document in vscode is VSCode (can't check as I no longer have VScode installed)
Just follow the instructions on the Custom Verb page and all should be well.

Note: this shortcut key is only effective in Everything. Not in - for example - File Explorer.
