I am managing a mixed platform office environment with both Windows and Mac machines. We have a Netgear NAS with a basic apache http server and also php service. Since Everything Search is not available on MacOS, I was wondering if there is any way to move the HTTP search functionality to the NAS and somehow connect it with a current File List stored on the NAS so users can search directly on the NAS itself.
Somewhat related, where is the actual html file that is served when accessing the http search page? e.g. when I go to 127.0.0.1 to access the http search, is this actually calling a html file somewhere on my machine?
