Version 2.3 is out! (updated: 2nd of March, 2024)

I've created a bunch of really useful in-app bookmarked searches for Everything
Most bookmarks have a keyboard shortcut and associated macro
The current version is aimed at Everything 1.5A (here on the forum)
Tested in Everything Version 1.5.0.1370a (x64)

Main benefit: organizes bookmarks into useful folder, keeps screen cleaner and more logical.

1. Open the Organize Bookmarks dialog:

Version 1.7 is now out with fixed secondary download link, sorry. Also added dropbox as an optional download source.

Version 1.7 brings a few fixes and more bookmarks, namely: "links", "games", "torrents and usenet", "vital executables" etc.

Since it's just a simple CSV file, I thought I'd archive the contents here in case the external sites go away in 20 years.
Copy and paste to Notepad and save as Bookmarks-by-zonetrooperex.csv then use Organize Bookmarks > Import.

Edit: OUTDATED POST. CSV raw code now appears in the top post for updated versions as of 11/27/2020.

It wrongly uses Everything and not Archive in Remember filter

It includes a description of how to enable the Bookmark sub-menus in Everything.

Are the filters named differently in a localized (= German in your case) Everything?
That might cause the Compressed filter not to be found, falling back to the default Everything filter.

Just a guess ..

If that is the case, workaround would be using zip: in the search query and leave the filter set to Everything
(as if you didn't know that already

)

I run a complete english environment even I'm German

So the Everything filter names are default but I removed Compressed long time ago.
But for me any filter named "something Archives" should use Archives as filter and not compressed.
For me compressed files are files compressed at the OS level and not archives.

That would explain it: "Compressed" filter not found ==> fall back to Everything filter.

FWIW: I just switched to Dutch instead of English and Everything picked up the Dutch version of Compressed automatically.

In case of running this script on your OS-drive be careful in case you'd decide to delete things (although I do not expect many inexperienced users here). Suggestions for more crap-extensions are welcome

I had a bit of struggle to find the latest version of bookmarks.
But close to the bottom of this thread, you have clarified that the latest version is posted at the top.

This same statement should be posted at the very top, so that people don't scroll down looking for the latest version.
Also mention that they can skip the rest of the thread, unless to post a new comment or to check out its development history.

BTW I still have a little confusion:
There are two different items listed at the top: 2.1 and 1.5.
Which is the latest?

Which one is recommended?
