The problem is localization is loaded after the normal Everything.ini is loaded and before the -config Everything.ini file is loaded.

qsort_s is available in VS 8 and most likely not available in vs 6.
I have removed the call to qsort_s and replaced it with qsort.
qsort uses a global variable for the list reference.

"Everything" uses the UTF-8 character set internally. "Everything" is limited to 255 bytes per file name, this is fine for the ASCII character set, but some characters (for example Chinese characters) can take up to 3 bytes for each character. File names that are longer than 255 ...

It might be useful to watch what files are changing on a SSD drive. You could use the USN change journal and the latest alpha version of "Everything" to monitor changes to the SSD drive. Once the SSD drive is included in the database, sort by recent changes to monitor file changes real-time.
