I'm going to assume that "full command", or at least "fullfilename" ($*), has a size limit of 4096 characters (including parenthesis & spaces). What is the debug output when you open a single filename? Is the parameter generated by Everything expected? https://www.voidtools....

No such problem here.
I always can move the splitter between the results list and the preview to any place.

There is no info provided what PDF product is installed.

MPC-HC has no problems using long paths for any media file.
There is no need at all here to provide a short file name.
Starting with Windows 10, all the user needs is enabling Long path support.

Regex is

Usage is to use playlists as base for manipulating dirs in Total Commander.
Not my job, but some user asked for help.

Everything IPC window not found. Please make sure Everything is running
means you don't have running Everything client in the background
or you installed the Light version which doesn't have the required function for es.exe

es.exe is the Everything command line tool.
Download it from https://www.voidtools.com/ES-1.1.0.26.zip
and store es.exe in the same dir as Everything.
Use the full path in your scripts.

Just to support users which such special needs there is no need for an additional launcher module.
The start-up options on different PCs can be different
and they also can use a simple batch or login script to start the correct Everything version.

Whatever David adds in Everything, it will not beat any of the better 2 pane file managers.
The integration of Everything with a real file manager is much easier to operate
and gives the best of two tools.

That may only work if the preview is provided by Everything itself.
Most of the preview modules are 3rd party software which doesn't have an API to make this.
