Search filters on version 1.2.1.451a
Does any one know the syntax to exclude certain files files from a Search filter. For example I have the following search filter: file:nocase:*.zip file:nocase:!cb*.zip file:nocase:!ps*.zip file:nocase:!wx*.zip This means I basically want to include every zip file, except for files that begin "...

Re: search inside documents
I agree with daspud, Everything should not change to look inside of files, it would slow things down. I have copernic and I use it for searching email only, I've disabled the file search capability. I use Everything precisely for it's speed. If anything, it should be an option not a default.

Re: bug in version 1.2.1.451a - include subfolders
David: Thanks for your quick replies. Sorry, I guess I neglected to mention I was trying to include a folder by using the EXCLUDE TAB. For example I have a folder called c:\samplefolder and under that folder I have several other folders. I want to include samplefolder but exclude all the subfolders ...

bug in version 1.2.1.451a - include subfolders
David: Under the EXCLUDE tab under options: When adding a new folder the options to include subfolders or only this folder are gone. I had to go to a previous version to change that setting on a particular folder, but when I loaded 1.2.1.451a again my customization on the filters were gone. By the w...

Re: Things to do
Someone suggested colors for rows and then took it back...I'd like to add it back in as a suggestion. I just found Everything today and so far I love it, even without this functionality. I like the simple interface. I'm a Karaoke host and I use Copernic for song searches of my Karaoke files which ar...
