Re: Is Everything Search still under development?

Can anyone answer the question of how to do searches that are not exact matches but like contain parts of words/phrases that you might not remember how they are written or spelled exactly, and if Everything d...

Re: Windows 8.1 compatibility
I've just installed the latest beta build of Everything on my Windows 8.1 virtual machine and everything (pun intended ;)) works fine. Go to 'Tools' > 'Options' and under 'General' > 'Results' check if 'Hide results when the search is empty' is selected. If yes, uncheck it. http://i.imgur.com/BtVvlV...

Maybe someone (from Australia) could try contacting him using the WHOIS information? There's a phone number.

Re: Everything doesn't list anything from my C: drive
Thanks for replying,
I've done all that but the problem remains.
P.S.: I have to make a correction, it does in fact list some things from C:
The following folders (and any subfolders):
$Recycle.Bin
found.000
PerfLogs
and pagefile.sys

Everything doesn't list anything from my C: drive
I don't know what happened but a few days ago I noticed that Everything stopped listing anything from my main C: drive, and I mean anything.
Any ideas?

Do you think someday you'll be able to implement some SSD tweaks to Everything? To make it more SSD friendly? (Less wear on SSD)

Re: Everything and SSDs
Thanks for taking time to reply. I'm already using the portable version of Everything in a mechanical HDD.
Is the USN Change Journal important on the SSD? I mostly search things in other partitions located on a mechanical HDD.

Everything and SSDs
Hello, First of all thanks for such a great piece of software! Now, my question is: is it OK for me to use Everything with an SSD? As it is recommended to disable Indexing, Superfetch, etc on an SSD I was wondering if using Everything's indexing on an SSD would have a negative impact on its health. ...
