Re: Issue with drag & drop into RAR archives
Thank you very much, this appears to fix the issue I was having. Out of curiosity, any reason why, at least in this case, standard user works better than administrator? I'm used to software needing administrator rights to enable more functionality, not fewer. Also, is there any drawback from not run...

Issue with drag & drop into RAR archives
Ok, here's a weird one. First, some basic info: - Windows 10 Pro x64 Creators Update, using an administrator account, UAC enabled but set to "never notify" - Everything Search 1.4.1.867b (x64), running as administrator and Everything service installed and running. - WinRAR v5.40 x64 Issue:...

Re: No context menu on files under C:\Windows\System32
Hmmmm... I thought about this further and because "Open Path" works on a C:\Windows\System32 file when using "Open Path" from the file menu, it seems to me that the functionality is already there so I don't see why "Open Path" could not also be displayed in a context me...

Re: Right Click
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I still get the crash with the new build .442, with or without adding the "context_menu_type=1" line to my Everything.ini file. Anyways, not a big deal now that I have a workaround (running in windows XP compatibility mode I get no crash at all)

Re: Right Click
Hi, I get the same issue and can reproduce all the time. I am on windows 7 Ultimate 32 bits and the issue occurs on a fresh Windows 7 install. Steps to reproduce: 1) Open Everything, type a search term that you know will yield several results. 2) Right click one of the results. Do not select any act...
