Re: Stuck sorting names on start.
I haven't set exclude options and what I did was a force rebuild, from fresh I restarted and it went ok but I included the offline files and restarted and it triggered the problem again.

Re: Stuck sorting names on start.
926 doesn't fix it either. 895 is still the last good one for me. But I also haven't updated windows 10 because it fails everytime. I tried several solutions and I checked and uninstalled drivers and such, but still, last time I updated windows I had to format the drive and I'll have to do it again ...

Stuck sorting names on start.
Hi, I saw there was a new version and decided to update but I found an issue. On version 1.4.1.895 there's no problem but on 922 and 924 there is. Everything gets stuck at start, and the last thing I see in the status bar is something like -sorting filenames-. Seems to be related to a config change ...

Re: 709b can no longer do <file: A|folder: B>
Thanks, it' worked. Maybe I changed it by accident? I don't know. Sorry for the inconveniences.

709b can no longer do <file: A|folder: B>
I've been noticing some strange behaviors on the new 709b, among others i can no longer do <file: abc|folder: cba> I was liking the beta because of the preview and thumbnail options, but the searching is somehow getting broken without the ability to do independent steps to go down the search... :? I...

Re: sizedupe: not showing any results
I'm not understanding why it shows dupes for things that I try to get out of the results like with "!\backups\ sizedupe:" It shows one of the pair

You were right, thank you very much.
I didn't think the fast size sort was necessary since it was being really fast already

sizedupe: not showing any results
I was seeing the new functions on the search syntax and saw the sizedupe one.
But when I tried it, it did nothing... 0 results.
Probably irrelevant fact: I see files searching "size:1 dupe:" so there are at least some dupes that should appear for sure.

Dialog message opening non existing file
Hi, I have a list where I got the files in an external hard drive that I usually don't have connected. And sometimes I find myself clicking various times the files in there without noticing they are not accessible because the drive is not connected. My suggestion is a simple message telling you when...

Re: "Everything" version 1.3.0.629b Discussion
I just wanted to say, THANKS, thanks for coming back. Even if you see a lot of critics don't take them too deep. We better have a few really supported features than nothing... Everything is the fastest thing I've ever used, and even if only was that it would be enough. Also thanks for the diacritics...

Re: Add small delay to the search?
Ok, thanks for the reply.
Just with the option of the enter key I would be satisfied, the counter was more like a suggestion for a better performance.
The enter option is planned for the next release? and by the way, any news on how the development of it goes?

Re: Font used on Everything Forum
It's been a while, I don't know if you are still interested on this but. The CSS info says this are the formats that could adopt ordered by preference (depending on th availability on your system). "Lucida Grande", "Trebuchet MS", "Verdana", "Helvetica", "...

Add small delay to the search?
Ok, We all know that Everything is almost Instantaneous. That's perfect, but sometimes the computer is not at his best moment, and everything requests are too fast. So I wanted to know if could there be some way to delay the search? I mean, for example a 200ms counter, that is setted when you write ...

Re: "Everything" version 1.2.1.451a
I think the problem is that we haven't any release, in my opinion an at least three-monthly snapshot of the program would calm us down, even if it's full of bugs

Problematic characters in RegEx
I was trying to get files with characters out of the range from "!"(close-exclamation) to "¡"(open-exclamation) with [!-¡] but i have some problems. Testing with RegEx enabled: ¡ - Gets good results... But with this (that should be exactly the same)... [¡] - It shows very estrang...

Volumes Tab
Some times I doubt if all the disk are being checked so I go to the volumes tab and i have to go clicking 1 by 1 to see if they are correctly configured
I was thinking if this tab could be represented as a table where all the settings can be immediately visualized for each drive?

Ignore accents
Hi, yesterday I found and it has been "love at first sight" I wanted to suggest an option to ignore if the filename has accents. For example: I search for: "beyonce" but I want that in the result can appear results with "Beyonc é " or I search for: "Hakkinen" ...
