removable volume: clear index when unconnected
I want this for only one specific removable volume: automatically add its files to the database when that volume is connected and clear the files from the database when the volume is unconnected. But I don't want any other removable volumes to be included in this way. So the options "automatica...

Re: .efu filelist
Mulling this over a bit more I discovered a pretty good workaround to get something like the use case described in the last post. Somebody else might want the same thing so here is a description of it. We replace each folder in the .efu filelist with the path to a .lnk file that is set to execute ev...

Re: .efu filelist
Maybe what I'm asking for makes more sense if I describe the use case a bit more. I want to make an .efu filelist with both paths to a bunch of files from different folders and paths to a number of folders. When the .efu is loaded I want to display only and all exact matches found in the filelist. F...

Re: .efu filelist
The best solution I can think of is if you know the root folder of the file list, including it in your search would limit your results to just the files listed in the file list Would work for uses where all files in .efu are from the same or a small number of folder paths. But in my use case they w...

run as administrator, launch files as user
Everything runs as administrator on my computer (I couldn't get the indexing to work otherwise). Every program I launch from Everything also runs as administrator. Is it possible to add an option that overrides that behaviour. Users could then set a target user account in the options and Everything ...

buttons/hotkeys for custom display modes (not filters)
I have sorted the listview in Everything like so: first a very wide "Name" column (default file list sorter), then a very wide (needing side-scroll) "Path" column. Further to the right comes "Size", "Date Modified", "Creation Time". I often immediate...

Re: always have object count in status bar at bottom
Will it also be possible to set statusbar to display the full path of the currently selected file/folder? That's very useful when using Everything nonmaximized and having multiple copies of a file and wanting to launch just one (e.g. a work copy and a backup of the file elsewhere)

hotkey to toggle sort mode
Hi, I request a hotkey that toggles sort sort based on the file time stamp on/off. I.e. it the hotkey would be equivalent to clicking on the "date modified" column.
