Make the update of the database optional at the start of Everything https://www.voidtools.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9105 I just added a couple of 18TB HDDs and moved massive amounts of files. (I do turn off everything in the process) Then everything just gets stuck in the [updating database] forever...
