Re: "Updating database..." bug reason
Due to this bug 1.4 looks more like an alpha version than 1.5. This bug is very annoying. It spoils the impression of Everything. I think you should rename 1.5 "Alpha" to 1.5 "Beta". An alpha software is usually a very raw software, that should not be used by consumers. I don't k...

Re: Image's dimensions in the popup/title
TL;DR: I would like to have an ability to select the extra properties for a tooltip only, they should be lazy loaded (only when a tooltip appears) and if a property is missed for a file, just do not display the property name in the tooltip. --- The "Dimensions" is a lazy load property. A l...

Re: Image's dimensions in the popup/title
Just to clarify that I mean:
Everything:
Windows Explorer:
(It has "Dimensions: 2715 x 1800")

Image's dimensions in the popup/title
Is it possible to add an image dimensions in the popup (like "title" attribute in HTML) when you hover the pointer over the image?
For example, Windows' Explorer displays an image dimensions in the title popup's.

Re: "Updating database..." bug reason
The real reason is incredibly slow reading of NTFS journal (when enabled Windows search indexing thing). It very slow "updates database". For example, opening of Everything 1.4 takes 7+ minutes after renaming of a folder with 190k files. How to reproduce: - Open then close Everything 1.4 t...

Better search input history behaviour
The search input works worse that the default one (like a usual text input in a browser). Currently, "Ctrl + Z" in the search input just toggles last 2 searches. It's notable inconvenient. I want to use "Ctrl + Z" to go back more than 1 time. Also, I want to use "Ctrl + Shif...

Re: Support "size:1 234 567 890" search
I awaited this thing in 1.5.0 release, but it seems 1.5 is in an infinity dev mode. So, I tested this thing in the alpha version now. There is a bug. It works for usual spaces (for example, if I type them with a keyboard), however, when I paste the formatted size from the Explorer, Everything does n...

Re: "Updating database..." bug reason
Or maybe my suggestion is wrong and these were just coincidences. For example, I started Everything now and just waited. "Updating database..." was 1:50 seconds. 2 minutes of "Updating database...". So, it looked really like a freeze. No progress, only the static "Updating d...

Re: "Updating database..." bug reason
I have already seen this message in other topics. I wrote the real reason of the bug. It stucks forever with "Updating database..." message until I open any file (or folder) on a stopped hard drive from File Explorer or with any other program to start spinning of the hard drive. 1.4.1.1005...

Support "size:1 234 567 890" search
Add the support for the size search if the size input string includes numbers separated by spaces.
It's very inconvenient to delete spaces when you copy and paste the file size from Window' Explorer file's properties.
"size:1 234 567 890" == "size:1234567890"

"Updating database..." bug reason
I'm not the only one facing this annoying bug: https://www.voidtools.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=51481 https://www.voidtools.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=44276 The reason is the follow: it fails to read NTFS data (I assume) when hard drivers are stopped. I have the enabled "hard drive stopping after...
