Thanks for letting me know. You must have been asked this a thousand times already, but have you considered open-sourcing Everything? It's the greatest piece of software on windows imho.

@void is your GUI available as a library? I'm working with DataGrids right now from WinForms and they are really slow. I'm trying to replicate interface of Everything, but it's nowhere near that level. It would be awesome if I could use your interface directly if that's possible

It would be great if excluding certain paths didn't force reindexing all the other folders. It would be useful in situation where for example you'd want all network shares to be searched by default and only occasionally search also the C: drive. Previewing them in the thumbnails. Thank you for mentioning (Alt+P) preview pane, but it would be cool to have them all in a single window. It's not a problem in a multi-monitor setup.

Showing large thumbnails in Everything tremendously boost searches for images - you can quickly preview contents of the searched image files. It would be useful to be able to do the same for text files and .msg email files.

could you please update us if anything changed? It would be a very useful feature. Have you looked into it already by any chance?
