Yeah, I believe it is only possible using a sync software that creates a database of all files.

Even if the left and right file have the same "timestamp" and only the file size is different the files are listed in the synchronisation window and suggested for synchronisation(!) That would be a problem, because the size difference ("Thanks" Microsoft) applies to most of my ~...

To my knowledge, there is no tool to find moved files in this context. Microsoft had a tool which were able to do that using a databse but this is discontinued. Okay, I've done all of this now. I even completely uninstalled and reinstalled Everything and let it run with default settings. It still doesn't show thumbnails and previews for images. Unfortunately, I now have the opposite problem. Everything no longer downloads anything, for example when the preview pane is active. Not even images are previewed. Thumbnails are not displayed either, instead only the JPEG icon appears. I have not blocked Everything in the OneDrive privacy/download...

I also have no problem with long file names in OneDrive. I've also checked that the shortened path duplicates that Everything displays are also displayed for fairly short paths. I haven't knowingly changed anything in my setup, my OneDrive for Business path and contents has been like this for years.

Hello Community,

Is it possible to search for a file name OR for something else, for example file content, at the same time?

For example like this:
Foo OR (ext:docx content:Foo)
(this example does not seem to work).

Okay, thank you. I work three days a week on one computer and the rest of the week on the other. Therefore, filters.csv may be changed on either of the PC's. I will now set up a manual sync that will sync filters.csv from OneDrive before Everything is started, and after Everything is closed as well....

Thanks for the quick reply! I was thinking about the symlink method mentioned above, and putting Filters.csv on OneDrive. Will that work, provided Everything will only run on one of the computers at any given time, or will symlinks to Filters.csv be overwritten on save, thus breaking them?

On a similar note, I just tried to create a filter for Word documents.
