The file type selector on the right of the search field was set to "Documents". Setting it to "All files" was the solution.

Hi voidtools dev, thank you for creating Everything; over the years it has become one of the *must_have* tools on my PC. In the later days I've got more and more markdown (.md) files on my storage location. Strangely it seems that everything (using version 1.4.1.877) doesn't find them. I don't exclu...
