Re: Advanced Search for date recently changed
My suggestion would be:
- Swap position of Size and Modified Date so all the date fields are together
- Mark Recently Changed as needing indexing

Re: Advanced Search for date recently changed
You're right, I missed it. When you open the Advanced Search dialog, it is scrolled to where it last was. It happened to be scrolled so three date related fields were visible: date created, date last accessed, date recently changed. I didn't see the date modified field above the size field, and so f...

Advanced Search for date recently changed
When I try to use Search > Advanced Search > Date recently changed to select on Date Modified, it doesn't display any items. I think it is because the dialog generates a rc query, but Help > Search Syntax says it should be dm (which does work). Tried it with 1.5.0.1366a, same result.

Re: Pressing Space on file name doesn't trigger QuickLook
I confirm I can turn off the alpha instance in user Advanced settings now.
And it looks like the fix for Everything not gaining focus after the Start menu was used has made it in as a permanent fix.

Thanks, that works. Control-C now copies to clipboard as tab-separated columns.
I missed that File > Export (control-S) had an option to change the export format.

Saving the result list as displayed
Is there a way to save/capture/copy/share/export selected rows in the result list, as it is displayed, in Everything 1.5? All I see is Export, which creates the .efu CSV file. Control-C to copy to the clipboard doesn't seem to do anything. The .efu file has the last-changed date in some unknown form...

Re: Pressing Space on file name doesn't trigger QuickLook
Does that increase the risk of Everything 15 corrupting the Everything 14 settings or vice versa?
Note: I'm not using Everything 14 anymore, except as a cross-check when I suspect something's odd with Everything 15.

Changed it again, quit Everything. This time the client quit.

When I quit and relaunched Everything 1.5 alpha, I didn't get an Everything icon in the task bar or notification area. Re: Pressing Space on file name doesn't trigger QuickLook
I deleted the shortcut for Result List | Select Focus, but space still has no effect.
What would "Select Focus" actually do? Doesn't the row have to be selected already, in order to execute the command against it?

Pressing Space on file name doesn't trigger QuickLook
I have https://github.com/QL-Win/QuickLook v3.7.3 installed. When I click on a file name in Windows File Explorer or Everything 1.4, and press the space bar, it displays the file. This is similar to macOS Quick Look, hence the name. (I know that there's now a similar feature in Power Tools, but I ha...

I think that now that I know I can fix it when necessary by quitting, relaunching, I'll wait for Everything 1.5 to be out of Alpha.

That works, thanks. I'm wondering about needing to set_foreground_window_attach_thread_input in future versions. The change isn't persistent? I'm seeing oddities with hardlinks. Is this a known issue, or not? New hardlinks don't appear in Everything search results until I force an update.
