Every time I open Everything it looks like too small and compressed. I resize it to the windows size I prefer and close it.
This is working ok within the same windows session but if I happen to reboot the program re-opens too small.

How to I make my window size remembered across reboots?

Not precisely what I meant. Enabling "full row select" actually shows a blue under the the under my mouse pointer but clicking on it will try to open the destination. My point was about selecting one or more items so that I can switch window and when eventually come back to Everything find...

Forget about... I have noticed that had selected by mistake the "whole word" option.

I admit, I don't remember having updated or modified any of the settings for everything. However I have noticed a change of behaviour lately. I don't have the skills but I would have thought for somebody that knows what he/she is doing it should be just a matter to reverse engineer the "search google for "..." " menu, create an Everything equivalent and point that exactly where the bookmark solution goes. Just a though...

I guess a workaround would be to point Everything to a full UNC path

so rather than have Everything indexing N: I would refer to \\192.168.1.2\share\ instead

both the about:config .ini editing and changing the DPI from the search field works great!!!

Very final question, I can't see any settings (I'm sure it's me) to change the search field background colour. Is this possible at all?
