Scary stuff for a noob like me but it's there. Any hope of the same but within the main interface, with a little checkmark in the future?
Great work and thank you.

Multiple profiles for options
I don't know if it is possible already. I want to set different options: which drive, folders to include/exclude etc and create profiles. The bookmark window is already there, so why not extend it to include all the options in the settings.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: "Search for a list of file names" (Advance Search). Help!
A few times the text file for "Search for a list of file names" (Advance Search) would not open at all. A text file with 4590 lines would not open as an example, but files with 1300 lines would. After a bit of line by line deleting my final number is 1453. The text file will not open if it...

Re: "Search for a list of file names" (Advance Search). Help!
I know what I am doing wrong. "TOUGH GUYS" by itself will find: THREE TOUGH GUYS ---.JPG THREE TOUGH GUYS 01 - BOT.jpg three_tough_guys_poster_01.jpg Etc... My main folder has all the same names as stated, but with different endings. "Superman 1 (portrait)", "superman 1 (lan...

Re: "Search for a list of file names" (Advance Search). Help!
I think I still do not understand completely. You want to overwrite the current thumbnail (T:\folder2\Drama\01234.jpg) with M:\Folder1\V\01234.jpg by moving this file from M: to T:? What are you going to do if movie 01234 has also genre Horror? The file can no longer be found on M: and you don't kn...

Re: "Search for a list of file names" (Advance Search). Help!
That is doable; maybe even easier than you would think (depending if I understood correctly). So, if I understand correctly: 1. You have a folder - let's say M:\folder1 - with 26 subfolders (A to Z) and in each of those subfolders you have files like 01234.bmp 2. You have a folder - let's say T:\fo...

"Search for a list of file names" (Advance Search). Help!
I have a collection of (high rez) movie posters. They are collected into folders (named A to Z, numbers). I want to sort them out into new folders by genres (actions, sci-fi, etc). Steps: I got all the (low rez) thumbnails (I downloaded by genre) I wanted in a folder. I made sure they are renamed th...

Re: searching "unusual" details
Do you have a paid version of the product? How much is it? Thanks. As far as I know - I have no involvement in it - Everything is free of charge for everyone; personal use and commercial use alike. EDIT: Everything's license . If you want to support Everything and it's further development, you can ...

Re: searching "unusual" details
Yes, I will have a ratio property for the next major version. The currently orientation: search is being replaced with the exif orientation property. eg: orientation:"Rotate 180 degrees" With the new ratio property you can search for ratio:1.777:1 or ratio:16:9 or show the ratio column an...

Re: searching "unusual" details
Hello! The orientation <portrait or landscape> option is great but I would like to sort with ratio % or average <wider than or taller than>. Let me explain. I want to sort out images that are very tall and skinny, or very wide and skinny. The resolutions are all over the place. Some images are very ...

Re: searching "unusual" details
Currently, Everything does not index, search or display these extended columns. I've added all these columns for the next version of Everything. I am still reviewing keeping this as most of them are not very useful or don't report any information at all. Here's a short list of columns I will most l...

Sorting video dupes based on their length only.
Hello. First I wanted to congratulate you on your amazing tool. In Explorer I can sort video files based on their length. I can't find a way to do this in Everything. Is it possible?
Thank you.
Thank you.
