Re: My scripts to catalog and browse multiple drives
Thanks for your scripts. I tried them, but they did not work correctly, at least in Win 10. Catd.cmd in particular failed, while allefu.cmd throws an error. Catd.cmd failure : I realized after sometime why was so. When the OS is not in English the catd.cmd does not capture VolumeName and Serial corr...

Re: search a number "greater than" in file name
Thanks again NotNull, also for the exact code you gave. It seems even to work just doing (using the initial scenario I asked): regex:"star([3-5])" I tried myself the other way, i.e. enabling Regex under Search Menu (shortcut Ctrl-R) and with this script it works: star([3-5]) More in genera...

Re: search a number "greater than" in file name
Thanks NotNull for your suggestion.
But, as I wrote, I would be interested to know if it can be used the "greater than" or the "number range" functions, if they can work in this kind of search. This is because I also deal with situations where numbers are much more than 5.

search a number "greater than" in file name
Thanks again for this exceptional piece of software. My question is probably trivial. I read the help file for using the operators, but probably I did not understand everything. Some examples for each operator would have been helpful. My scenario is the following: I put in the file names (given the ...

Re: Everything as "where is it"
Hi maxfactor, yours is an additional twist in what I am looking for. Namely, if with ET I keep history on, I would not like to see twice (or more) in the database the same pendrive contents: once because it appeared in letter F:/ and twice because another time it appered in letter G:/. But my reques...

Re: Everything as "where is it"
This link seems to offer some possible solutions. https://superuser.com/questions/244579/copy-unc-network-path-not-drive-letter-for-paths-on-mapped-drives-from-windows I cannot test the program mentioned (needs FrameNet, that I do not use and want), but it seems that it can give in the context menu ...

Everything as "where is it"
ET is a gem. I keep track also of my movable HDDs. Even when they are not mounted I can search what they contain. Hence I use ET also like a more dedicated program such as "where is it". Now the question. Portable HDDs and USB pen drives do not mount always to the same drive letter. And I ...
