is it possible to have just the http server run on linux?
i don't need any of the windows specific functionality, i can provide the filelist, i just love the search and http server. i was thinking of just somehow using a cronjob to create a file list in a format everything would understand and then running the search/http server on linux. i looked through ...

Re: Allow file operations on HTTP server
The HTTP Server and SDK are read-only. I will consider an option to allow file operations with the HTTP server/SDK. Thank you for the suggestion. thanks. can i ask where the original html files are stored? i am designing my own webservice to handle these operations. i'd like to integrate that into ...

Not working with Drivepool
Hi, so the software Drivepool, located at https://stablebit.com/drivepool essentially combines multiple drives into a single one. But Everything doesn't detect any files when pointed to the NTFS virtual drive created by it. Is there any kind of high level explanation you can provide as to what mecha...

HTTPS authentication?
This programs provides access to files but only has HTTP basic authentication, which is archaic by todays standards. Any chance of getting something more advanced? I know it can always be put behind a reverse proxy but still would be nice for built in security.

Re: is there any intention to make this open source?
Please don't. This is the way to ruin a great program. If someone needs an open source project, it can start it from scratch. The source code of Everything is very good written and it will be a waste to give it for free to an unknown bunch of people to spoil it. Sorry to say but you have absolutely...
