After upgrading from Windows version 1903 to version 2004 today, Everything no longer searches anything in my “Documents” folder on the “C” drive (full path is “C:\Users\Barry\Documents”). I quickly found my own answer:
Tools>Options>Indexes>NTFS and unchecking "Include in Database" for the device drive letter
