Greetings!
OH...now I get it. So if we never exit the program, the db file date won't change. Then, on reboot/restart, the db file will change and update with all the memory changes, right?
Whew! Thank you so much for your quick response!
Cheers, Jan

When does the db file date change??
Greetings! We're setting Everything up on a web server and have users use the web interface to search. For out test, I set up Everything as a standard user (using my log in) with the service running and data stored in %APPDATA%\Everything. Since it's on a web server, it's always running (unless I re...

I now just have a question regarding setting up the default page that is used to display search results for our users. I'm testing this on my PC and am running Version 1.4.1.809b (x64...

Re: Correct setup on a server
Greetings! Thank you so much for all your help with this issue. Since your response, we've installed Everything on a different cloud web server (located on the West coast instead of the East Coast) and the indexing of all three network drives that we need went from 3.5+ days to about 6 hours! It's w...

Re: Correct setup on a server
Hi again! Sorry, but I forgot to answer your question about the "hit or miss" question. It seemed that when indexing is being done, nothing is displayed in web-search. I've been doing some more reading in the forum and have seen comments that lead me to believe that that is the behavior. S...

Re: Correct setup on a server
Thank you so much for getting back to me! And thanks for the confirmation that I did things correctly! Now, I have some questions: This morning, a user complained that the web-based search was not working. I logged onto the server, and I got the "Everything stopped working unexpectedly" er...
