Re: everything.db Very Fragmented
Thank,
I know it's not a big deal, but it shocks me to see it everytime I run Defraggler
If everything does not find de db, is it slower to boot because it has to reread the whole disk or
is it the same time ?
Thanks

everything.db Very Fragmented
Hi All,
as the title say, everything.db is very fragmented, even i defragment it, in a few days it's fragmented again.
Is there a wayto prevent this (more than 150 fragments is much for a very small file like this 128MB).
May be a solution would be to allocate space.
Bye

Re: Can not find Everything.db
OK, I know the answer now: I found it in a post verything creates its database from the NTFS master file table. The database is stored in memory and saved to disk when you exit Everything. The database is restored from disk the next time you open Everything. Everything uses USN Journaling to keep it...

Re: When does Everything saves the search history
Void,
yes, anything would be appreciate.
a simpler way: View-> Last searches (order by date of ourse)
It's a very convenient way of finding things you don't remember even the name

V1.2.1.452a vs V1.3.2.644
Hi, I don't understand what's happening, V1.2 finds more files than V1.3 that prvents me to switch to the new version. example: I am looking for saia + read V1.3 does not retun nothing V1.21. returns the correct answer which is path : d:\data\sources\ saia with a file inside read ing.txt ===========...
