I made the rename change as it is easier if everything matches the behavior of the host windows version.

For the windows name i just changed my AHK macro to
#IfWinActive ahk_exe Everything64.exe
so the class change isn't an issue.

I just noticed these because they broke my autohotkey scripts.

1. cursor keys when renaming a file are now different from non-alpha and the windows standard.
2. window class is now EVERYTHING_(1.5a). it used to not have a version number in it.

I have one sort of related issue, but i think it is Windows fault.
When doing that drag and drop to drive with limited space, the copy/move is aborted (only option is try again or cancel), even though there will be plenty of space due to overwritten files.

Is there a way around this?

When drag files from everything to a slow device (usb drive, network share) all everything windows are locked until the operation completes

Have you ever seen a de-dupe program that can do this or can think of a way to do this easily?

1 Multiple paths of files to be considered masters.
2 Find duplicates(byte wise) of the masters across multiple paths and delete them, but dont de-dupe within the paths.

I did disable sleep in windows, but one of those drives is a green WD one, i think those go to sleep on their own anyway?

Still havent seen this error again. The debug window has been open the whole time and machine rebooted about twice a week, went in/out of sleep mode tons of times.

I'm using the newest beta. I haven't seen the bug in a long time, but i disabled powersaving mode a while ago so that could be why. I'll reenable it to try and replicate it. It's upto 144388k, 150340k, 316. From just running in background in the taskbar

I do see an everything service, it is stopped though.
In process explorer i see: private bytes 110924, working set 116772k, 316 handles. Everything has been running half a day. i dont know what it was at start, but i'll check over time now.

I don't think the service is installed. I don't see it running. Should i reinstall it with the service?
