Re: Ideas for Everything installers
Thank you void, it works well.
Do you plan merging the installers ? Only one installer, with all languages & architecture, means less works for you (one installer versus four), and a better compression for folks like me that want to have a universal one (and also less confusing for noobs).

Wrong copyright dates
In the "About" windows, it says 2013.
In the file info, it says 2005-2012.

Re: Ideas for Everything installers
Thanks for the answer. My goal is to install Everything unattended, with custom configuration. (launching it at startup and in my language) I want to use Everything x86 for 32bits Win and Everything x64 for 64 bits Win. Using the executable to install it seems cool, but I suppose it don't create entr...

Re: Ideas for Everything installers
Yes, I have seen it can be configured after the install, the main suggestion is about allowing silent installation & merging the installers.

Everything title & tray icon tooltip in French
Not really a bug, but the text for tooltip & window title in French translation is "annoying": Currently it is Everything - Version FR par colok-traductions.com To me It should be just Everything because even translated, it is still the same program (it was Everything - Version FR in p...

Ideas for Everything installers
Hello David, I'm glad to see you are back ! I have two suggestions for the installer(s): 1- Add a switch to install Everything silently (maybe also some switches to choose to install the service, the port, etc....) Something like that would be cool: "Everything-installer.exe -appdata -silent -s...

Re: Network traffic .. what for??
I think it is local traffic only. If you use CurrPorts (from Nirsoft) or TCPView (from Sysinternals/Microsoft), you can see a lot of connections initiated by Everything, but they are on 127.0.0.1 (local machine). Don't know why there is so much connections though. If you close Everything client, con...

Re: [649b] Lose file when renaming
Seems to work for me. When I rename a file within the everything window it immediately jumps the order to the correct location.Similarly if it is done outside of Everything in the explorer it works. The only exception is for new files added while the Everything window is ON. Yes, it worked also toda...

[649b] Lose file when renaming
Hi void, I have found a bug with the latest beta (649b): If I rename a file within Everything, the file is not indexed anymore, I have to do a force rebuild. The bug seems a bit random, I have seen it the last week but I can't reproduce it today... Win 7 sp1 x64, Everything is installed as a service...

Re: Run as a service
I can't really contribute anything to how this should be achieved, but wanted to chime in that that ability to have Everything work without going though UAC control every time would be awesome! It's already doable, you have to create a task (with task scheduler or importing one) that will start Eve...
