Running everything, loving it. so, if I exclude ~winsxs on first index, will the files in windows|system32 be indexed?! I tried exclusion; that didn't work... so I tried the blatantly obvious option of including the 'windows' folder. That worked. I've disabled exclude folders, but still only see windows & sys32 contents on mounted volumes (!C:) Is there an attribute on the folder(s) or a sys-protection feature limiting the view? This limits the search to files and folders with 2 parents only (C: and New Folder).
This is much faster than the wildcard version above.
