Re: Pasting multiple locations via path column
The nopath:folder:screenshot finds folders that have "screenshot" somewhere in the folder name. If path searching was enabled, it would find folders with "screenshot" anywhere in the pathname, such as c:\pictures\screenshots\subfolder\subfolder. You can combine a search that sear...

Re: paste hard link(s) to clipboard items in selected folder
Thanks for reminding me of LSE. LSE will work. Say I have some files highlighted in a Everything result list, and I want to put hard links to these files in a folder. I can right-click on the files and click Pick Link Source. Then I'd do a search to isolate the desired destination folder, and highli...

paste hard link(s) to clipboard items in selected folder
Ctrl+V copies files on the clipboard to the selected folder. If it does not exist already, I'd like to have a similar keyboard shortcut to paste a hard link(s) to the clipboard item(s) in the selected folder.

custom values csv questions
I'm trying to understand how custom property values will work. I looked at the following page but still have questions: https://www.voidtools.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=9788#customproperties It appears that custom properties are stored in a CSV file, only one for the whole database, at a loc...

Re: Poll: What are your favorite features for the next version of Everything?
Like Raccoon I would love to be able to add my own columns and fill them with my data in a spreadsheet fashion. This would do wonders for file management, and I can figure out why somebody hasn't done it yet.

Re: no space between modifier and function?
Fantastic! Thanks! In my case I was trying to match both a path, AND find files within those paths that started with certain patterns. But there was a problem in that the path contained the same pattern I was looking for in the filename. So I was getting results that matched the pattern in the path,...

no space between modifier and function?
I was experimenting, trying to figure out why certain complex searches weren't showing the results I expected. I tried the following search: path:startwith:c:\cloud\dropbox\camscanner nopath:startwith:1442 this search results include the following file: C:\cloud\Dropbox\camscanner \.greet\json\ 1442...

Re: new files not showing in Everything until shutdown and restart
Well I just removed a bunch of Removable drives from the list of indexed volumes in Options > Indexes > NTFS - then I added a new file and it showed up in query results without having to restart Everything. So maybe I have just fixed the problem. :D Thanks for your great great great program.

new files not showing in Everything until shutdown and restart
For some reason recently added files are not showing up in Everything query results. They will show up if I shut down everything and restart. I'm running 1.4.0.713b (x64) on Windows 10 version 1607 build 14393.222. Until recently newly added files would show up instantaneously in my search results. ...

Re: I can't find anything on some folders
Same here, Everything won't show files in my Dropbox - it does so for a brief time after I delete and recreate the database, but this doesn't last long.
I tried the SUBST trick, doesn't work for me.
So do we have any more information on this?
