In the meantime, please try Everything 1.5.0.1357a Thanks, I've already tried it! I try every new alpha to check new features and how things are progressing. The incoming 1.5 looks really good, and as I said in the another thread a few days ago, I'm looking forward to support for multiple file lists.

Edit 1: the problem with extended characters also concerns the file names of the EFU files.

Edit 2: Tested in both Everything 1.4.1.1022 and Everything 1.5.0.1340a.

I'd like to be able to load, on the same instance of Everything, every one of my file lists, corresponding to my different hard drives, in order to locate my file. Hello, I've used version 1.4.1.867b (x64) portable for a few days and I'm very happy that I haven't encountered this problem so far. I suppose this has to do with this bugfix: "fixed an issue causing Everything to hang onto a volume handle when trying to safely remove a device". Thank you!

After a few weeks using Everything in its 32-bit version, things are working fine, so maybe there's a problem with the 64-bit version.
