Re: option to use period (.) as file name separator
Slight change, appending, ";void(0)": javascript:location.href='es:'+document.getSelection().toString().replace(/[\!\#\$\-\{\}\(\)\[\]\)\.\,]/g,'%20');void(0) That gets rid of the search "displaying" as the "web page" (too, & not that I know what void(0) does ;-))....

Re: Current setup files crash with the 0xc000007b code
Thanks, worked like a charm. I'm now on 922, though I don't really notice any difference.

Re: Current setup files crash with the 0xc000007b code
I currently have the 1.4.1.895 x64 version installed on my Windows 10 x64 and I got a similar message: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application." I also tried running the x64 installer in admin mode, both with Everything running in the ...

Re: Clicking .url Files in Everything causes problems elsewhere
Are you running Everything as Administrator? Programs that are running under a "lower" account are not allowed to talk to programs running under a higher account If you are running Everything with an administartor account, programs started from Everything are also running as Administrator...

Re: option to use period (.) as file name separator
A "Match punctuation" search options is on my TODO list, thanks for the suggestion. Hi, void. Thank you for creating Everything, btw! I'm also interested in what nuitlejour was asking about. That is perhaps best summarized as an option to ignore all punctuations (i.e. to treat them as spa...

Clicking .url Files in Everything causes problems elsewhere
Hi, thanks for creating this awesome program! I'm using Everything 1.4.1.895 with Windows 10 x64. Just a bug I wanted to report: When I double-click .url files in Everything, it sometimes then prevents Windows Explorer/File Explorer (Windows 10) or my outlook (and perhaps other programs) from being ...

Re: Option to make [.] equivalent to [space]
Or more general, an "ignore", http://www.voidtools.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1758. Yes, ignore would work fine for me as well (so long as searches like, James.Bond OR James Bond will return both James Bond & James.Bond. Don't know much about programming, but maybe a way to jus...

Option to make [.] equivalent to [space]
Hi, for some of us who grab stuff off the net and wind up with a bunch of filenames with periods and sometimes without: it would be REALLY nice if there could be an option that would make Everything treat a . and a space as the same. (yes, I know I could do a regex and use . all the time). But it's ...

Re: sorting choice lost
FYI, for anyone else having trouble with the ini file, I used an Admin-level notepad and ALSO made sure all Everything-related Processes were terminated in Task Manager. before this, the settings in .ini would keep reverting! So either the admin or the terminating everything processes (think an extr...
